Owner and Head Coach, Tunde Okunniwa, began his competitive sports career in Basketball at the age of 15 and by 19 Tunde was in a scholarship playing for an American college.

As a professional college basketball player in America, Tunde developed a passion for functional fitness training and arrived home to make steps into the community.

Now as a Coach and athlete, Tunde has spent the last five years competing across Europe as one of the UK’s leading Masters athletes and is dedicated to helping people reach their goals through health and fitness.

Part-Time Assistant Coach

Assistant Coach, Pete Klimo, is a Level 3 Advanced Personal Trainer and full-time Health Club Manager. Born and raised in Slovakia, Pete played professional Ice Hockey for much of his career until a life-changing injury resulted in a discovery of functional training.

Now as a Coach and competitor of the sport, Pete enjoys helping members to reach their full potential in the gym and has his eyes on becoming one of the leading Masters athletes in the UK.

Fitness Hub Personal Trainer

Owner and head coach at Optimal Fit, David is a level 3 advanced personal trainer with a degree specialised in strength in conditioning. As a qualified Olympic weightlifting coach, David specialises in strength and sports specific training. Alongside this, he also has a vast experience in weight loss management, combining tasty nutritional support with fun and challenging training, David will push you to not just reach your goals, but exceed them.

Catherine is a Level 3 advanced Personal Trainer and a UK Athletics running leader. Catherine specialises in pre-post natal fitness, circuit training, sport specific coaching and strength and weight management training. She will work with you to recognise your fitness goals and teach you how to enjoy keeping fit for longer.

Catherine is a competitive runner and swimmer herself and loves to compete in all types of endurance races and marathons. Catherine found The Charlton Kings Running Club and ladies group seven years ago.
